The project begins (June 2022)

Ready to meet.

After months of preparation following up the successful approval of the project, SECOVE partners started getting to know each other. At first with just a few messages, emails – most importantly, signatures – and then they were ready to join the very first online meeting.

The meeting, which took place on Zoom on the 24th of June, saw the introduction and presentation of the project coordinator, University of West Attica, represented by Prof. Giorgos Priniotakis.

After a brief presentation on the general scope of the project, all partners had the opportunity to introduce themselves. SECOVE can count on 22 organisations, coming from 5 different European countries and with different yet complementary expertise to define the concept of ‚excellency‚ and how this can apply to the sector of Sustainable Energy – where SECOVE will be implemented.

What’s ahead for SECOVE?

The Agenda for the day, quite brief in scope as it mostly served to kickstart the coordination process, saw the beginning of WP8 – Impact & Dissemination. As another transversal Work Package, the analysis of SECOVE’s impact as well as its communication tools is central to all project activities.

In the next article, we will go into more in detail about the activities of SECOVE during this first period of work (June – September 2022).

Next meeting: 19th September 2022, SECOVE kickoff online.
