The first consortium-level meeting (19th September)

The first official meeting for all partners of SECOVE took place online, on September 19th 2022. 

Following the summer break that involved, to a larger or smaller extent, all partners, the project coordinator, University of West Attica, invited all twenty-two partners to the official kick-off meeting of SECOVE.

The meeting, which took place once again online to facilitate coordination and facilitation of pending project activities, was hosted by the coordinator on the 19th of September 2022.

The Agenda followed the appropriate structure of the original SECOVE work plan: thus this time, all Work Package leaders had the opportunity to present their visions for their respective tasks.

  • WP4: Promoting Synergies Between VET, Labour Market And Regional Needs, Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri, Spain
  • WP5: WP5: Making SECOVE Inclusive And EncouragingWomen In Technical Professions, CIOFS-Fp, Italy
  • WP6: Promoting and Sustaining Quality and innovation in VET, Centre of Renewable Energy and Saving, Greece
  • WP7: Quality Assurance and Evaluation, INOVA+, Portugal
  • WP8: Dissemination & Impact, IDEC SA, Greece

Some Work Packages had already started, such as WP1, WP2 and WP8. The opportunity was for them to confirm the cooperation agreements discussed during the previous meeting in June and validate the results already achieved.

Regarding WP1, it was the occasion to present the Project Management Handbook and establish a reporting mechanism, internally.

WP8 consisted of a lively discussion of the logo options as presented by Antonio Gennarelli, Project Manager from IDEC SA, leader of the WP8. The options were then refined and eventually became the official logo of the project.

UNIWA went through the first Task of WP2, namely the collection of stakeholders for the National Workshops: it gave a vision and scope for the activity, and a deadline for the Workshop – namely December 2022.

INOVA+ took the opportunity to kickoff also the Quality Assurance process for the project.

The partnership finally agreed to organize the first in-person meeting of SECOVE, to be hosted in Athens on the 28th and 29th of November, 2022.
